Our Visit

We paid. Visited October 2026.

We visited The Flip Side Restaurant for dinner. The menu rotates but stays approachable with familiar favorites prepared thoughtfully. The shrimp and grits were excellent with plump shrimp and creamy pimento cheese grits that had the right amount of spice. The burger with pimento cheese was juicy with a good char and came with well seasoned fries. Both plates showed care in the details.

The room is comfortable with a relaxed feel that encourages lingering. Tables are spaced well and the noise level stays conversational. Service was efficient and friendly. The rotating menu keeps things interesting while delivering on the items that have built its reputation. We saw several tables order the shrimp and grits and understood why.

Everything we tried was consistently good without any single misstep. It is the kind of place that becomes a regular stop because you know what you will get and that it will be done right. The comfortable atmosphere and reliable execution make it a strong neighborhood option.
